The writer of this piece doesn't say whether he loves, hates, or is somewhere in between on Trump. His point is decisions on whether to prosecute shouldn't be made on how someone feels about Trump. And that the legal reasoning behind these charges is dubious enough, without throwing in that the prosecutor may be doing this because of bias.

And he is right. Look, I am no fan of Bill Clinton, and I wouldn't want him to be charged with a crime, merely because someone didn't like him. I wouldn't necessarily want him spared from being charged just because someone like him.

We all depend on the rule of law. Bets not to get rid of it.
