The U.S. Capitol Police have had a regional field office on Falkenberg Rd. in Hillsborough County shared with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s “Office Of Intelligence” since July of 2021, with the blessings of U.S. Rep Kathy Castor. Their excuse is they are “protecting” a Congressional district. Gov. DeSantis has done nothing about this. I’d thought if there were going to be any protests when/if Trump is/was arrested, they ought to occur at the Democrat Party county headquarters on N. 56th Street in Temple Terrace. However, since the U.S. Capitol Police have a very real presence here, anyone caught protesting a Grand Jury order runs the very real risk of arrest and indefinite incarceration. Guys be careful.
Traffic is pretty heavy around there, isn’t it? It could extra heavy under the right circumstances. Just saying.
BTW, I didn’t think there were many people left who remember when Temple Terrace was a separate town from Tampa.
