If the bad guys were scared out of pulling the trigger. It was Elon’s words and power that did it. Not Trump’s weak threat.
“They hate Trump. They fear Elon.”
Trump’s effect was not aimed at his enemies, it was to bring his supporters back into his fold. That worked.
However, as you noted “Fear of Elon”, and I would add Tucker to this new reality, “They fear Elon and hate Tucker and Trump!”
