First, I must state that I am not, have never been, and will never be a NeverTrump. I voted for the man twice and will gladly do so again if he wins the nomination. I'd like to see him in the Oval Office again because I believe it to be important for the soul of our country.
We need to show the conspirators who attempted to destroy his presidency that we will not stand for a coup of a duly elected administration. The Democrats and the Deep State used a hoax and a sham investigation in an attempt to prevent Trump's election, and then take down his presidency after elected. Their attempt to interfere in the peaceful transfer of power — beginning in 2015 and continuing through 2020 — must be met with consequences. A re-election of Donald Trump would signal their failure and the commencement of consequences — as delivered by a president who will never run for election again.
Having said all of that, it's important to take a cold, hard look at why Trump lost in 2020, and why he'll probably lose in 2024 if he continues on his current path. There's plenty of time for a course correction. However, it does require a correction — a change.
I don't believe for a nanosecond that "Dementia" Joe actually got 81 million votes with a basement campaign. Unfortunately, the election was close enough to be stolen — and it probably was, with unconstitutional rules changes and questionable ballot-harvesting.

Thanks.
“and will never be a NeverTrump. I voted for the man twice and will gladly do so again if he wins the nomination.”
So he ADMITS being a NeverTrumper. Good enough for me to move to the next thread.
Trump needs to do what the author said.
The author said “Here’s my advice: read the audience, play the part, and make the sale.”
This is good sales advice and getting what you want.
Trump doesn’t follow the advice given by the author. The same name calling like he did in the past doesn’t work. He needs to adjust.
Trump doesn’t learn from past mistakes.
I love Trump’s policy choices.
The man has personal flaws.
At this point I’m for Kristi Noem.
DeSantis handled Covid well, but Florida is overregulated.
Self-control and temperamental stability.
Flooding the “elections” with ballots rather than votes is why he lost. He won among those who voted. In 2024, he needs to gather as many ballots as possible. That will take money, since Soros & Suckerberg are funding ballots on the other side.
NO! I voted for him twice because I want him the way he is, not some mealy-mouthed dumb cluck who sits in the corner like a puppy with his tail between his legs, and lets the media, and the Democrat party walk all over him. We don't need a gutless wonder. The GOP already forced that type on us for ages.
Personally, after everything that's been thrown at Trump, his family, his political supporters, etc., for the past 7+ years, and the shit that is still being thrown at him, I think he deserves to say whatever he wants, whenever he wants.
Anybody that believes that Joe Biden got the highest number of "legal electoral votes", of any Presidential candidate in the history of this country, all because of Trump's behavior, needs to have their head examined.
RE: So he ADMITS being a NeverTrumper
I don’t see how you can make that conclusion from these statements of the author :
“I must state that I am not, have never been, and will never be a NeverTrump“
“ I voted for the man twice and will gladly do so again if he wins the nomination”
If you take these statements at face value, your conclusion should be the OPPOSITE of what you wrote.
Trump doesn’t follow the advice given by the author. The same name calling like he did in the past doesn’t work. He needs to adjust.
Trump doesn’t learn from past mistakes.
Stop and think why?
The sheep would much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray paint himself white, and go, “Baa.”
The author sounds like he needs to join The Lincoln Project.
“I voted for Trump BUT…..”
Reminds of seminar callers to Rush.
“We need to show the conspirators who attempted to destroy his presidency that we will not stand for a coup of a duly elected administration.”
Article then goes on to list how not to do that.
Homeowners insurance is still a mess in Florida.
Soon the Democrats won’t need to cheat to say in power indefinitely.
“If you take these statements at face value, your conclusion should be the OPPOSITE of what you wrote.”
Just a party hack, or would have voted for Trump in the Primary. No shortage of those types, sadly.
The author of that piece should see 2000 Mules then get back to me.
Trump is the only incumbent President who lost when he received more votes in the his re-election. Trump got 11 million more votes in 2020 than in 2016 —74 million compared to 63 million. A 17.4% increase.
Trump won 17 of the 18 bellwether counties. Truth: Trump won in a landslide. The election was stolen.
RE: NO! I voted for him twice because I want him the way he is, not some mealy-mouthed dumb cluck who sits in the corner like a puppy with his tail between his legs
Unfortunately, there are many who don’t think like you. I know of several friends and colleagues who tell me that they stayed home in 2020 rather than vote for either Biden or Trump ( mostly because they don’t like the way he talks or demean others ).
It might be a very superficial reason. Unfortunately, such folks exist by a huge number.
