Graham accuses DeSantis of 'taking the Chinese position' on Ukraine in calling war a 'territorial dispute'

"If you look at the OOB of both sides it is the size of a territorial dispute.
After a year, it looks like the Ukes have fielded 6 or 7 infantry divisions ( 120,000 troops ) and the Russians double that in theatre."

The US went to war against Great Britain in 1859 over a territorial dispute in the San Juan Islands between Washington State and British Vancouver Island.
It is called the Pig War because the shooting of a stray pig ignited the war, and the poor pig was the war's only casualty.
That territorial dispute was arbitrated in 1871 by the German Emperor, Kaiser Wilhelm I, who set the boundary which exists today.

That is a territorial dispute.
Ukraine is a Russian empire-building invasion of land previously recognized by Russia as belonging to Ukraine.
Russian success in Ukraine will increase Russia's population and economy by roughly one-third.

That is not a "territorial dispute", it's Putin trying to reestablish the old Tsarist and Soviet empires.

Ron is correct. We should not be involved with Ukraine. We are not supporting a democracy. We are interjecting ourselves in something we have no business in. This war in only making the US MIC extremely rich, the US more dominate and thousands of people killed so companies here in the US can send in political contributions and get political favors. It’s like betting at cock fights (which is illegal I might say) but no different, just on a larger scale. Its all a giant money game.

Lindsey Graham? He suffers from the same form of dementia as Petey Bootygieg. At least Lindsey keeps it to himself and doesn’t brag about dressing like a girl to feed the baby.

Russia has about 10 divisions in theatre. What a joke.... Neither side is taking this so called "existential" fight very seriously.

By comparison the USA had twice that number in theatre during the Vietnam war, a third world civil war.

Graham and DeSantis were both military lawyers. That using actual “Military”. Buttigig and Hunter Biden had the same job.
Face it military lawyers are only kinda military.

I love Trump. I like and respect RdS very much. Where the heck were both of them a year ago? There were a few of us who were as adamant as Trump is today in March of ‘22. This has been a no brainer since day one.

They both wrong. It’s a war over who is going to control the Ukraine, and eventually other former Soviet Republics bordering Russia. Russia under Putin? Or the Biden/EU axis promoting communism, LGBT, and green agenda destruction all over the planet. If we have to choose rather than settle, Putin is the better choice.

It goes way deeper than that. They thought that they could fold Russia and take their resources. Same crap, different day. Russia is not Iraq, Syria or any of the others.

“This “war” is a joke.”

Agreed.

Let’s all keep funding and keep fighting ... but not so much that grain shipments are affected.

This “war” in the Ukraine is not WWI, WWII or even Korea. In scale and scope Ukraine is Russia’s Vietnam.

Russia’s Afghanistan II, Electric Boogaloo.

Ron’s point is this is Europe’s War and if they don’t want to be under the thumb of Putin, until the day after he dies, they need to take out loans and fund Ukraine themselves.

Euro printer can go brrrrrr, too.

The call of a RINO.

He may (occasionally) stand for something worthwhile, but that does not make him a worthwhile person.

Kinda like a pervert priest.

Correction .
Hunter is not a lawyer .
Its was the Beau Biden who was the lawyer .
Desantis served in the Military with Honors while Trump dodged the Draft .

Hunter Biden wasn’t a lawyer in the Navy and he doesn’t seem to have practiced at a law firm, but he did go to law school, sort of like Chris Cuomo.

We certainly didn’t treat Axis prisoners like that after WWII. In the U.K., some of them were sent to do work on farms in England instead. And of course, we didn’t execute Werner von Braun after he surrendered to us. We hired him to help us perfect our own rocket program.
