A Glendale state senator who calls reports of a riot on Jan. 6 "a sham'' is now going after judges who sanction attorneys for filing what he believes are "good faith'' claims on behalf of clients.
But Republican Anthony Kern insists it has nothing to do with his own lawyers being ordered to pay $75,000 in legal fees after he and two other lawmakers filed what a judge concluded was a frivolous lawsuit against another legislator over his role in that 2021 event at the U.S. Capitol.

Also, it is my understanding that Kari Lake has filed her response to Maricopa County's filings in her election fraud case. However, the only article I can find on her response is at Epoch Times, and the article is behind a paywall. If anyone sees the reporting elsewhere, post a link here on this thread.
The judges are bought and paid for. They bring their own politics into all there decisions.
Some judges don’t want certain litigants to be able to find attorneys to represent them and it may be about politics. Chilling access to court is exactly the intended result.
And this isn't the only election case in AZ pending. Abe Hamadeh's petition for a new election for AG, or at least to finish counting the provisional ballots from last fall's election awaits a ruling from the initial judge. Abe's only down 280 votes in the currently 'official' tally and has plenty of what he claims are uncounted ballots to put him over the top. Methinks they underestimated how hard to cheat in that race. Somehow the traditional Dem cry to "count all the votes" isn't applicable here... The GOP SOS candidate, who probably also 'really' won but was further behind in the 'official' count had his suit thrown out and the 'official' winners are trying to have his lawyers sanctioned for filing it. AZ needs Kari in to undo what Hobbs has and is doing and needs Abe in to be able to officially investigate and jail the crooks. Don't know if those two together would be able to resurrect the SOS race or the never officially contested yet still suspect US Senate race.
The judges are ruling on the margin of victory instead of whether it was lawful, or were election laws broken? If election laws were broken, was the election lawful?
