Seems he would just end the war in place from previous comments he made. To the delight of the Russians and Putin, and of course the FR trolls. This setting the stage for the next Russian invasion of Ukraine or elsewhere.
It is very strange to make these sweeping statements and offer no details behind them.
Republican voters like peace through strength. Letting Putin do whatever he wants does not sound like strength.
I think Trump is better than DeSantis, but this comment is somewhat concerning. I think most people are fine with continuing to sell arms to Ukraine but not sending troops. Seems easy enough and it’s not going to war with Russia.
