In the race for Florida’s next Governor, Republican nominee Ron DeSantis took his campaign into the Everglades.
So since he's been governor, did he actually do things "to help the climate"? Did he ban offshore drilling or fracking? Or did he do anything at all like that?
If not, then this video is a nothing burger.
Montana was pretty far north during the Late Cretaceous. But the continents were much smaller and thus the climate was less continental and more temperate.
“Are we saying that because DeSantis said something about climate change 5 years ago...”
If that’s the standard, then people can also start dragging out statements that Trump made 5 years before he decided to run for President, no?
Someone might not want to go down that road though...

Thanks for pointing that out.
Makes one wonder why
Complete Bullchiters Syndicate
didn’t use a clip of him saying that this year.
On 2nd thought, no, it doesn’t.
Spit.
Anyone thinking our earth’s atmosphere has anything to do with causing climate are either hopelessly gullible or naive, flat-earth believers.
Not a speck of data or any scientific process supports such nonsense.
In reality, the moon has MUCH to do with regulating our climate where the atmosphere merely converts climate into weather and puffs it around the planet.
DeSantis - learn real science, not santyclaws science.
She is definitely WEF and a globalist climate stooge. That’s a giant red flag. Have you ever noticed that almost no politician actually calls out the actual WEF as the real enemy of all sovereign countries in the world? They skirt and dance around it while condemning the symptoms, but not the cause.
“Any Floridian Freepers here who can comment on the claim of a rising sea level down there?!?”
Lol. Florida is the flattest state in the union, just barely above sea level as it is. That’s why the entire peninsula was a swamp when the Europeans first visited, before they built seawalls and such. If the sea level rose by anything significant, then probably 95% of the state would be under water.
And for the record, no, I'm not one of the rabid DeSantis types. In fact, I'm a Trump voter.
it was more than 5 years ago, but Trump said Oprah would be his perfect running mate when considering running as the Reform Party candidate.
I believe his record as governor would tend to disprove that. He IS, however, a polished politician.
Except DeSanctus is actually POTUS eligible.
You get my point, though. There have been major geographic shifts.
Consider it, then dismiss it. Pretty easy call.
Stop making any sense and being “ingenuous”.
The Everglades have changed because of fresh water management, the “river of grass” has been disrupted.
But that is NOT climate change.
Fake news level: High
and by purity, it is increasingly whatever dribbles out of Donald Trump’s mouth. If it happens to be a conservative thought it is lauded. If it strays a bit, it is 4-D Backgammon to attack the Swamp. If it is off the rails crazy, you are a Deep State tool to point it out. And if it is just childish prattle it’s ‘owning’ the libs
Yes, but can you have a reasonable discussion with “Trump chumps”-dangus and “fruity tootsies”-TexasGator? Asking for an enemy.
