Facts: Russia illegally invading eastern Ukraine means nothing legally. The international community and law do not recognize any of this land in the East as Russian territory. Same goes for Crimea.
“Ukraine is getting its ass kicked in the proxy war”
Russia is not only getting its ass kicked, but it has eroded any credibility of an effective Russian military. The logistics are out of the Napoleonic Wars.
The plan to conquer all of Ukraine has failed. Russian should leave now, or lose Crimea.
If that was plan, why did the Russians seek to have the Minsk Agreement implemented? Why did they come to us with their security concerns in December of 2021 trying to prevent this war? Why did they try to negotiate a peace settlement in Turkey last March?
At every turn, WE wanted this war. We wanted a proxy war with the Russians because thought we could win and turn Russia into what we turned Ukraine into -- a money laundering machine for our political elite, their financial backers and the defense industry.
And, only idiot would claim that annexing 40,000 square miles of land that comprised 70-80% of Ukraine's GDP, controlling almost the entire Black Sea coastline and building a land bridge from Russia to Crimea isn't a huge win for the Russians.
Spin, spin, spin...You're trying to spin 52-7 loss into a victory. But, no one with a brain believes it.
