But, large parts of Ukraine were parts of other countries before the Soviets took over. Parts of Ukraine were part of Russia, Poland and Hungary.
And, ethnic Russians are no obligation to live under an illegally-formed Ukrainian nationalists government that wants persecute and kill them.
