Originally the stories cited employee complaints that he was abrasive and dictatorial as the reason. It was sometime later, as James challenged his dismissal, that the allegations of financial mismanagement came up.

Corporate media’s coverage was immediate and brimming with details. They accused him of stealing a sandwich from a pregnant woman and spitting on an employee. The FBI raid was brought up, though not his exoneration of wrongdoing.
As far as I know, there have been no formal charges stemming from all the financial allegations. You’d expect to hear something by now.
