Not sure what exactly happened here. We will likely get propaganda from both sides. It seems fighter jets should have the right of way over drones.
If I was in a fighter jet and saw a drone on a potential collision course or even near the jet I would want to take it out. Bye bye drone.

The Black Sea is on the other side of the world. Russia probably believes, whether true or not, the drones were doing recon for Ukraine. It was bound to happen sooner or later.
