Hell, I remember in the early 90s when they were predicting the end of the world by 2000.
Say, weren’t polar bears supposed to be extinct, the polar ice completely melted and most of Florida underwater by now? I guess none of this being even remotely close to happening is the real Inconvenient Truth eh Al Gore?

In the 80s and 90s, the holes in the ozone layer above major rustbelt cities were supposed to converge…..and then the sun would act like a laser death ray and burn all of us. It’s why we had to stop using aerosol hairspray.
