250,000 more men and the Russian’s can’t even achieve the 30km advances they made last summer like at Izyum. Their “breakthroughs” are a few kilometers. The Ukrainians have stymied the Russian pincers at Bakhmut and are making a fighting withdrawal. Supposedly the Russians got pushed back in some parts of the city today. Meanwhile, Russian units at Vuheledar are refusing to advance, and the mud season has set in limiting both sides’ ability to advance.
