President Donald Trump has been targeted by social media censorship in its most corrupt form, since the beginning of 2021. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube have made it clear they are willing to cherry-pick violations of their policies and ultimately ban conservatives.
However, just over one year after his ban on the Big Tech platforms, the 45th president began working on the development of a new platform that would allow free speech.
President Trump handpicked former Congressman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., to be CEO of the new free speech platform Truth Social.
In the days leading up to the launch of the social space, hundreds of thousands had signed up to receive access. Following its initial release, the app quickly rose to the top of the charts on the Apple App Store.
President Trump’s innovative solution led the way for others to take action against censorship.
Last year, Tesla founder Elon Musk made the decision to acquire Twitter for $44 billion, a move that shocked many. Since the app had become an authoritative mechanism of leftist propaganda, Musk had a mission to restore true free speech.
The reinstatement of President Trump on Twitter was one of the first, of many, moves Musk made to restore trust on the platform. That action sent shockwaves through the D.C. establishment that previously seemed to hold the reins regarding who gets to speak freely and who does not.
In January, Meta announced the reinstatement of President Trump as well, ending a two-year ban.
Following the reinstatements, President Trump took to Truth Social to say the following:
“FACEBOOK, which has lost Billions of Dollars in value since ‘deplatforming’ your favorite President, me, has just announced that they are reinstating my account. Such a thing should never again happen to a sitting President, or anybody else who is not deserving of retribution!”
President Trump’s ability to rebound from being banned on most Big Tech platforms paints a picture of his resilience and leadership.
So while the corrupt, woke mob of billionaire Big Tech overlords worked tooth and nail to destroy the MAGA president, it appears he made the mob a trophy of the execution of “The Art of the Deal.”
now get the SEC off our necks and Trump’s platform rockets to the moon
Trump doesn’t give up or give in.
It seems utterly premature to declare victory in this major fight based on some minor pushbacks in recent weeks. The long term trajectory of this problem is decisively AGAINST conservatives as seen from 2020 onwards, and with the notable exception of the Musk-owned Twitter, there has been no change in this stance at any other social media company.
Won the battle but lost the war.
Trump has not begun to fight. the bullets have not started to fly yet. It will end with Trump as a war-time president of the USA or Trump the president of the CSA (Constitutional States of America).
The legacy media used to speak truth to power, now it’s just a cheap power tool.
It’s going to burn out and break.
The battle perhaps, but the war has just begun.
>> Won the battle but lost the war.
True regarding the battle, but the war is far from over
Only Walter Cronkite can officially declare a war lost all by himself.
Wait, after Trump flailed around like an incompetent baby until he lost the election and achieved absolutely nothing despite being President to protect free speech, they’re claiming Musk’s victory as Trump’s?
Yahoo and Breibart / Disqus censor. Especially Yahoo.
Wait, after Trump flailed around like an incompetent baby until he lost the election and achieved absolutely nothing despite being President to protect free speech...Trump accomplished more for America in one 4yr term than any President in your lifetime...period.
