I’m pretty sure that Pence was in on the whole thing with Pelosi and McConnell. They wanted an event that they could then weaponize against Trump and everyone who voted for him. That’s why only half of the Capitol Police were on duty, that’s why the National Guard wasn’t there or any meaningful barriers around the capitol. Did Pence ever raise the issue with Pelosi and McConnell or did he just go along with their plan?
They’re an oligarchy. And we’re not allowed in. But we got one past the goalie, so it was all shoulders against the wheel to get things back to “normal.”
That meant anything was justified.
