A study in the journal Current Biology predicts that killing Daylight Savings Time could prevent 36,550 deer deaths, 33 human deaths, 2,054 human injuries and $1.19 billion in collision costs per year.

I hate when we change our clocks. I wish they would just pick standard time or DST and stick with it. It’s not the changing of clocks that bothers me. It’s the effect on my body twice a year. Takes me several days to get used to it, in both directions. Enough is enough.
I wish they would choose one or the other. Changing digital clocks back to standard time is a PITA, but there are more important things to get po’d about. One of them resides in the white house.

It is really hard on school kids, it really seemed to mess them up, both in the fall and spring, but especially in the spring when we lose an hour.
Pick one and stick with it.
I love it. Mainly after the week when it will stay light well into the evening.
Since I retired in 2019 DST is meaningless to me.....but I do enjoy hearing people complain about it like I used to 😂

DST starts too soon, and ends too late. Other than that, I like it but I DO NOT want it year round.
If it kills deer, I’m all for it. They are nuisance animals and are a constant road hazard.
All this garbage about the time shift causing health problems in humans is a bunch of crap.
It is for me, since I am the designated "clock-changer". I have changed eight clocks so far, with two yet to go. Four of these involve dragging around ladders to reach the clocks.
Two of the three "atomic clocks" that are "supposed" to automatically reset themselves......don't (these are two of the ones that involve ladders).

Somebody must be making money from this, or we wouldn’t be forced to do it. Figure out who is profiting, expose them, and it will be easier to put a stop to it.
