The representation is worse than worthless; many/most of the lawyers are Deep State plants and actively working against their clients. This was reported by MTG and (I think) Gohmert early on. Some never visited their clients, and when they did they would continue the verbal brow-beating by accusing them of crimes that didn’t happen.
Chansley’s lawyer wouldn’t have pushed him to take that plea deal if he were in any way working for his client.

The legal profession is rife with liars, frauds, and traitors! WE need to change the laws. When a lawyer brings a charge against an entity, if the case is found to be unjustified, the attorney should have to pay all defense fees as well as the courts costs.
Whatever you think about Mitch McConnell, he may deserve the Medal of Freedom just for keeping the lying fascist off the Court.
