I never asserted anything about the Aircraft carrier, my post only implies the media is often manipulated to seek more funds. Do you honestly believe the media is not used to seek more money for the military industrial complex?

Not sure how I am therefor grossly misinformed as I never made a claim about the Aircraft carrier itself.

Pretty damning indictment of the EMALS on pp 29:

272 cycles between failures observed
4166 cycles is the target

Of course every new system of this level of complexity will have teething troubles but this seems high for this far into the program.
