Dr. Robert Redfield, a virologist and the former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), testified under oath Wednesday that he believes U.S. tax dollars paid for the research that created COVID and that the funds came from several agencies, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Defense (DoD).
So far, COVID has killed 1.1 million people in the United States and 6.8 million worldwide.
Dr. Redfield testified before the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis. Redfield was the director of the CDC from 2018-2021. There, he "oversaw the agency's response to the COVID-19 pandemic from the earliest days of its spread and served as a member of the White House's Coronavirus Task Force," his opening remarks state.

During the hearing, House Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.) asked Dr. Redfield if he thought Dr. Anthony Fauci lied under oath before the Senate, when he claimed that the NIH was not funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.
Dr. Redfield answered, "I think there's no doubt that NIH was funding gain-of-function research."
Malliotakis then asked, "Is it likely that American tax dollars funded the gain-of-function research that created this virus?"
Dr. Redfield said, "I think it did, and not only from NIH, but from the State Department, USAID, and from DoD."
... Earlier in his exchange with the congresswoman, Dr. Redfield explained why the coronavirus did not operate as if it had been passed from an animal, such as a bat, to a human. He said he believes the virus was "more likely" the result of a "lab leak," and that the virus likely "evolved in a lab involved in gain-of-function research."
As he explained, "This is a type of research in which scientists seek to increase the transmissibility and or pathogenicity of an organism [virus] in order to better understand the organism and inform preparedness efforts and the development of countermeasures such as therapeutics and vaccines. Under this theory, COVID-19 infected the general population after it was accidentally leaked from a lab in China."
Dr. Redfield testified that he told Dr. Fauci and other government officials that, "As a clinical virologist, I felt it was not scientifically plausible that this virus went from a bat to humans and became one of the most infectious viruses we have in humans."

Despite his view, Redfield was excluded from some of the important telephone conference calls that Dr. Fauci made with other officials in early 2020.
Malliotakis asked him, "Why do you think you were excluded from those calls [with Dr. Fauci]?"
Dr. Redfield said, "It was told to me that they wanted a single narrative and that I obviously had a different point of view. ... I think it's unfortunate. Again, I've said this before, this whole approach that was taken on February 1 and subsequently in the month of February [2020] -- if you really want to be truthful -- it's antithetical to science."

The narrative pushed by Dr. Fauci was that there was not a lab leak in Wuhan but that the virus had somehow transferred from an animal to a human, perhaps at a "wet market" in Wuhan where animals are sold for food.
Although nearly all the scientists mentioned at the hearing who were involved apparently believed the virus came from a lab leak ("engineered"), within three days of a Feb. 1, 2020 tele-conference call with Fauci, they had changed their minds.
"Almost overnight, top figures in virology research and in the public-health establishment went from being worried the virus might be man-made to dismissing that possibility as a 'conspiracy theory,'" reported James B. Meigs in Commentary magazine.
"[I]f the virus -- whether manmade or natural -- did escape the lab, it would mean the pandemic was arguably the worst man-made disaster in history," said Meigs.

Prior to my time at the CDC, I spent more than 20 years as a U.S. Army physician and medical researcher at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research where I served as the Chief of the Department of Retroviral Research and worked in virology, immunology, and clinical research at the forefront of the AIDS epidemic and other viral threats.

AIDS DRUG TRIALS ON FOSTER KIDS
In the late 1980s and 1990s, Fauci directed a series of AIDS drug trials performed on foster children. HIV-positive foster kids were funded by NIH. Several of the studies were sponsored by NIAID, a sub-institute of the NIH which Fauci began directing in 1984 and was directing at the time of the studies. Many of these kids were from very poor minority neighborhoods and Facui’s team denied kids their personal health advocate to protect their rights.
Foster children reported side effects ranging from rashes to vomiting to a significant drop in white blood cell counts. Many children died. During a drug trial involving Dapsone, at least 10 children died.
Fauci is again at the center of an ethics scandal involving his agency’s funding of the China Wuhan Lab where the CV19 pandemic may have started. Fauci himself denied any such link from the very beginning of the pandemic in Jan 2020.
Fauci was never prosecuted, let alone reprimanded, for his unethical and unlawful use of foster kids to conduct Aids research in violation of the Nuremberg Codes.

**10 years ago, in 2003, 04, 05, I was investigating this story. Children in an NYC orphanage (and the foster care system) used in clinical trials. The Associated Press took it national and found it going on in seven or more states.
“Some states declined to participate in medical experiments. Tennessee said its foster care rules generally prohibit enlisting children in such trials. California requires a judge’s order. And Wisconsin “has absolutely never allowed, nor would we even consider, any clinical experiments with the children in our foster care system,” spokeswoman Stephanie Marquis said.
Officials estimated that 5 percent to 10 percent of the 13,878 children enrolled in pediatric AIDS studies funded by NIH since the late 1980s were in foster care. More than two dozen Illinois foster children remain in studies today. “

The White Coat Waste Project, a taxpayer watchdog group, has provided The Gateway Pundit with new examples of Dr. Anthony Fauci facilitating cruel and unnecessary taxpayer funded experimentation on dogs — this time in Tunisia.
Documents uncovered by the organization found that the National Institutes of Health division that is led by Dr. Fauci shipped part of a $375,800 grant to the lab in Tunisia to infest beagles with parasites.
The grant money funded a study published last month that detailed the horror inflicted upon the unlucky dogs.
One of the tortures that the beagles were subjected to included locking their heads in mesh cages filled with infected sand flies so that the parasite-carrying insects could eat them alive.
Beagles are often used for these tests because of their gentle nature, even towards those who harm them.
There was a photo of the test, which is sure to haunt anyone with a conscience.
According to their paper, the scientists starved the sand flies in order to make sure they were hungry enough to attack the dogs.
“The sand flies were then allowed to feed on the sedated dogs….” the report explains.
The nightmare for dogs did not stop there. The experimenters locked beagles alone in cages in the middle of the desert, isolated, for nine consecutive nights, to use as bait to attract more infectious sand flies. There is also a photo of this horror.

The article’s “Funding Statement” confirmed that it was given money by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and that NIH funding was given to the lab in Tunisia.
“EZ and AS received funding from the US National Institutes of Health,” according to the grant. “EZ” is one of the paper’s co-authors, Elyes Zhioua, from the Institut Pasteur de Tunis, Tunis, Tunisia. “AS” is Abhay Satoskar, from Ohio State University.
White Coat Waste Project pointed out that on the NIH’s website, Zhioua is listed as the co-PI on the grant along with Satoskar.
White Coat Waste Project, using the Freedom of Information Act, recently revealed that Fauci spent $424,000 to commission another study in which healthy beagles were given an experimental drug and intentionally infested with flies that carry a disease-causing parasite that affects humans.
The researchers are developing infections in 28 beagles and allowing them to suffer for three months before being euthanized.
The report from White Coat Waste Project explained that records show that the dogs were “vocalizing in pain” during the experiments.
The organization also noted that experimenters admit this investigational drug, “has been extensively tested and confirmed…in different animal models such as mice…Mongolian gerbils…and rhesus macaques….” Meaning that this painful torture is completely unnecessary.
In a letter sent to Fauci last week, Congressman Scott Perry and 14 colleagues cited their investigation and demanded answers about the project — including has much money has been spent to date, how many dogs have been killed, and why the NIH commissioned the deadly dog testing when the Food and Drug Administration has said it’s not required.
The letter was signed by Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Ken Calvert (R-CA), Madison Cawthorn (R-NC), Rodney Davis (R-IL), Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Diane Harshbarger (R-TN), Yvette Herrell (R-NM), Fred Keller (R-PA), Brian Mast (R-FL), Bill Posey (R-FL), Greg Steube (R-FL), Glenn Thompson (R-PA), Randy Weber (R-TX) and Daniel Webster (R-FL).
In 2016, White Coat Waste exposed how Fauci’s NIH division was using tax dollars to buy beagle puppies and strapping capsules full of infected flies to their bare skin.

As Matt covered earlier this month, pointing out that “There’s Another Reason to Hate Fauci,” the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Dr. Anthony Fauci’s division at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), used $1.68 million to experiment on dogs, removing their vocal cords before doing so. Now, Dylan Housman for the Daily Caller, who first reported on the experiments, is reporting that it’s raised enough attention where 24 members of Congress, from both parties, have sent a letter to Fauci demanding answers.
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) led the letter to Fauci, which contains the signature of 14 other Republicans and nine Democrats. It begins by stating that the members are writing “with grave concerns about reports of costly, cruel, and unnecessary taxpayer-funded experiments on dogs commissioned by National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.”
A particular concern laid out in the letter is to do with how an invoice to NIAID included a line item for “cordectomy” or “devocalization,” to slit a dog’s vocal cords.
The letter asks for answers to the following by November 19:
-How many drug tests involving dogs have been funded by NIAID since January 2018? How much taxpayer money has been spent on this testing?
-Since the Food and Drug Administration has clearly stated that it does not requite dog testing for new drugs, why has NIAID continued to commission testing on dogs?
-What has NIAID done to explore the use of non-canine and non-animal alternatives to meet FDA data requirements? Please describe in detail.
-Has NIAID ever made any dogs available for adoption after the conclusion of an experiment or testing? If so, how many? If no, why not?
-Why has NIAID contracted for cordectomies when they appear to be scientifically and medically unnecessary? What is the average cost for each cordectomy performed?

Documents obtained by WCW through the Freedom of Information Act show that Fauci’s division at the National Institutes of Health ordered cruel and unnecessary drug toxicity tests on dogs and other animals that cost taxpayers $1.68 million.
In the tests, 44 beagle puppies who were just 6-8 months old were repeatedly injected with or force-fed an experimental drug for weeks, and then killed and dissected.
The documents also show that the Fauci’s NIH division paid to have the puppies’ vocal cords cut out so they couldn’t bark in the lab while they were being abused.
To add insult to injury, these dog tests ARE COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY! The NIH stated that the dogs tests were meant to support a submission to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), but the FDA has stated clearly as recently as this summer: “The FDA does not mandate that human drugs be studied in dogs.”

These dogs were subject to some of the cruelest treatment imaginable. In a procedure called a “cordectomy,” sometimes called “de-barking,” the puppies’ vocal cords were slashed.
Why? So Fauci’s white coats wouldn’t have to hear them cry.
“De-barking” is painful and cruel, and opposed by the American Veterinary Medical Association. “Many veterinarians refuse to do the surgery on ethical grounds,” the New York Times reports, adding that the barbaric practice is rarely even taught in vet school. But NIAID is funding it — and you’re paying for it.
I was well aware of happenings during the AIDs epidemic in the 1980’s as several people came to me for medical and health information. I know that an effective Vaccine was a great hope, and Fauci was definitely involved.
When all the publicity about Pfizer and the vaccine controversies arose around the Covid pandemic I started thinking about the current “successful” vaccine effort, and the earlier failed AIDs vaccine effort. I had a horrible thought that perhaps the AIDs vaccine effort failed because it would be more profitable to sell victims several daily medications a day for the rest of their lives, rather than develop a vaccine that like mumps; tetanus, shingles, etc. might only be needed once very ten years.
The push to develop Covid vaccine was extraordinarily rapid by comparison. Getting it funded by the government for the entire population was a winner for the vaccine manufacturers like Pfizer and Moderna, who did their best to stop J&J. Since the virus changes like flu, they might be able to continue to make a fortune on annual vaccine shots. Unfortunately, we are beginning to find serious possible problems which will only be scientifically verified after several years of followup studies. Current concerns I have noted are:
1) The IgG1, 2, 3, and 4 problem. There is now a concern for IgG4RD (related diseases). It appears that with each additional Covid shot the ratio of IgG4 to other forms of this immune factor increases. At the first shot IgG4 is less than 1%; at shot 2, 4%; shot 3, 8%, and by shot 4 near 20%. In addition, IgG4 by that time seems to switch from a useful immune factor, to possible a useless or even negative force. My brother, whose liver metastases from his colon cancer had been shrinking with chemo, a month ago announced proudly he had had his forth Covid shot. But now his lessions are growing again and he is on much stronger chemo.
2) Some doctors are confusing IgG4RD lessions with cancer lessions. More research definitely needed on the whole IgG4 issue, and the affect of multiple jabs on cancer and other illness.
3) The concern with the FAA whereby they have changed allowance of one potential heart problem indicator by 50% so they can get enough pilots to fly our airlines.
4) A study of practicing Canadian doctors which indicate a recent increase in death rates of around 50%.
Since this whole Covid vaccine exposure issue is so new, it is not yet possible to have any real definitive proof of how bad the problems may be, but there are certainly some very worrysome indicators showing need for focused attention both scientific and political. It may be a couple of years before the proof is available to convince most “authorities.” Hopefully Fauci’s replacement will authorize the studies to clarify the issues.
