Third-world countries: too "derogatory"

~~~
I kinda get the idea that phrases rooted in slavery have a tainted past, even if the people who use them now have zero bad intent when using them.
With that aside, banning "Third-world" because someone constrews it as derogatory is a perfect example of how this is all really THOUGHT CONTROL through language.
For a looong time classifying nations level of economic development as first through third world was nothing more than a convenient ordinal designation. Of course, we don't like classifications at all in this day and age (unless leftists do it for propaganda purposes) because the thought police want to make sure everyone walks around like robots taking orders from the supreme authority without making any judgements, assessments, or self guidance.
"Don't Thinks! I don't give you enough informaiton to think! You do waht you are told! THAT'S WHAT YOU DO!"
“ I kinda get the idea that phrases rooted in slavery have a tainted past…”
But their examples aren’t really “rooted in slavery.”
