Nobody is saying trans athletes can’t play sports. They just have to do so on the men’s team, where they will not have an unfair advantage, that’s all. How in the world is that controversial?
That’s the point I’ve tried to make when these discussions come up. Nobody is Banning or discriminating against the so-called trans people from competing in sports. What these proposed laws and policies would do is to say that you must compete against people of your same biological sex.
But the way the left distorts issues , they make it into some civil rights Crusade and say that trans people are being discriminated against, and not allowed to compete in sports.
It is factually incorrect to say they are not being allowed to compete in sports. But the way the left and the media report this issue, they are creating a false impression.
