As hard as it is to believe, but Kentucky could do worse. And if something happened to McConnell, the Democrat Governor would see to it with McConnell’s replacement.
As I understand it, the state GOP executive committee would submit 3 names from which the Dem guv would have to select McConnell’s replacement.
