I wonder if Kentucky has learned anything since they keep reelecting this POS every six years.

1) The Dem KY governor is required by state law to appoint from the party of the deceased. Semi recent change.
2) The term limits thing at the Federal level has been explored. The Constitution does not forbid long term office holding and so any attempt to impose such a thing will fail in court. A candidate who satisfies the Constitution reqmts can run. Not so at the state level. The Constitution does not specify reqmts for Governors.
