Yep. I once read an article about a French fur trapper who worked the Great Lakes around the time of the American Revolution. I can’t remember the names of the Indian tribes in the article, so I’ll just use A and B.
Well, one day the trapper went to visit his friends at Tribe A and couldn’t find them anywhere. So he canoed down to his friends at Tribe B.
“Where is Tribe A?” he asked the chief of Tribe B. “We killed them all,” the chief replied.
