My point is that is was so horrible during the COVID scam that even a marginal improvement might be view as “getting better” even if we are far below the living standard prior to 2020.
So, you may be starving today, but not QUITE as starving as you were yesterday. Voila! Better.

Not defending the thieves, but, I think part of that is the change over to the summer blend of gas. Of course if the correct winner was in the White House, this wouldn’t even be an issue.
