If any of this was true (pretty marginal story if you ask me), then it triggers Article 5 of the NATO agreement, and Ukraine (if ordered by them) would be defined as an enemy.
The part of the story which fails...the ‘yacht’ was rented. No one seems to be able to explain how it was rented, how it was paid for, and the party behind the rental. You’d also be asking me to believe that they did this ‘work’ at 350 ft below the surface without a sub. Plus, the bomb residue was left ‘accidentally’ on the table of the ‘yacht’.
Maybe that's their ultimate out - NATO forces can strike through Poland and seize Kiev within days, securing Ukraine west of the Dneiper (and hiding any incriminating evidence) while Putin occupies the eastern part.
Say, I remember reading about some historical event just like this before, when was it? 1939, or something? :)
Yeah. But the Feds found Timothy McVeigh pretty danged quick after he allegedly rented a big yellow truck and stuffed it full of ANFO.
