It’s like the opening scene of a bad action movie – or, for the people involved, a horror story: On Friday, four Americans were kidnapped by armed men, likely members of a cartel, in northeastern Mexico. It was apparently a case of mistaken identity, with the kidnappers believing that the Americans were Haitian drug smugglers.
Jill Filipovic Jill Filipovic The four Americans, identified as Latavia “Tay” Washington McGee, Zindell Brown, Shaeed Woodard and a man called Eric were reportedly in the border town of Matamoros, in the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico for a medical procedure for McGee. According to the FBI, the gunmen fired at them, and then the Americans were “placed in a vehicle and taken from the scene by armed men,” the FBI said.
Authorities say that two of the victims have been found dead, and two survivors – one severely injured – have been located at what appears to be a medical clinic in the border city of Matamoros, US officials told CNN.

The Neocons are now starting to push a war with Mexico, I guess after figuring out that they don’t stand a Russia or China.
But the problem is that Mexico is moving towards Russia and China, so the Neocons will even find Mexico to be a lot to handle.

I hope we eventually hear the whole story. How were they mistaken as Haitian drug smugglers? Why were two not killed? What occurred during their captivity?

I’ve noticed that also. And in the vanguard was the not-unexpected Uriah Heep like Lindsey Graham advancing the idea.
Any resident/citizen of a civilized country who sets foot in Mexico should have his/her head examined.
Yea I'm not really buying the innocent just going to a medical procedure thing. The cartels intel is just as good as ours because our government works with them.

LOL. But Trump actually was able to work with them, even though they had a Socialist running the country. The NEOCONS seem to simply want to go to war with every country that doesn’t bend over and take it.
But what the NEOCONS are learning is that countries now have OPTIONS, as in the cases of Russia and China, who are now strong enough to not even need us around, and the Third World, who understand that Russia/China will treat them FAR BETTER than their former colonial masters.

You can take that up with Lindsey Graham, as it was GRAHAM, not us who is calling for war with Mexico.
Yes, Pancho Villa attacked a U.S. town and we sent an expedition. But the country was in chaos, Villa wasn't exactly the regular army.
The last time the U.S. invaded Mexico, L. Ron Hubbard was in charge.
