Yesterday before market close I canceled my order in the large-cap value fund. Your post had me rethink my purchase. LOL
Better than a savings acct
What I do is invest in mutual funds made of treasuries. I buy over 40 mutual funds in many asset classes (categories). 1/4th of them are "safe" funds of bonds, treasuries, and money market. I'm invested 100% in those right now with a large portion in the treasury funds because those tend to go up with equity funds go down. When the bear market in stocks is over I'll move money back into the 30+ equity funds. Hopefully in the mean time my treasury funds will make decent coin like they did in the past few bear markets.
