I keep trying to figure out how Kinzinger is a Republican. Nothing he does is remotely conservative. Perhaps for Illinois, that’s as right as they go?
We have the same phenomenon in New York. GOP has accepted permanent minority status, so any GOP rep who makes it up the greasy pole of state politics has already been cucked and neutered.
That, or Kinzinger is simply an agent of the CIA or some other power.
This helps him get attention, thats all. Media love to have RINOs willing to bash the GOP on their shows. This guy is the ultimate loser but the left loves him. These folks are being exposed bigly and they may not like it but they dont fear it. They have no shame, they do not care what the truth is.

He’s not a Republican; he just ran as one because his district at the time was still somewhat red. As soon as he was elected he cast aside his red cloak and started showing his Dem credentials. Even the Dems couldn’t stand him (but used him, anyway), the abruptly gerrymandered him out of his district.
There are a lot of conservatives in Illinois; just not enough to overcome the Chicago cartel.

No, there are real conservatives, but mainly in the more rural areas of Southern Illinois. In the northern suburban areas, that’s where you get this weird hybrid species of Republican. They can’t get elected without appealing to suburban women who were probably all Democrat voters until they got married and moved out to the ‘burbs, and then began to vote Republican since that’s what their new peer group does. But they’re still pro-abortion and leftists on the social issues.
