If they talk for 5-10 minutes an hour, that is a12-15% reduction in music play time, per hour. That’s a bunch of ASCAP fees they don’t have to pay.

What I can't figure out is how they expect anyone to (and I know a lot of freepers do) listen to talk channels like Patriot. Even if it IS Levin, putting up with 25 minutes or more of commercials or product endorsements per hour is a deal-killer for me.

I used to listen to that when I was on the road 3 days a week. I cannot remember the last time I listened. It’s either Fox Biz, or the music channels.

Simply having this discussion makes me question my listening subscriptions.
