I thought that was why Californians were importing Mexicans. To have the babies they don’t want to have.

Sonoma and Napa counties already have seen a population decrease due to a host of causes Nope - just one cause: Democrats.

The idiot governor will call for more destitute, high-fertility immigrants and refugees to settle in the state - at taxpayer expense - claiming they are needed to "take care of the old people" and "prop up Social Security."
And no, this doesn't bode well for the future - or present time.
There are reasons productive citizens and businesses are fleeing the state in droves.

Socialist utopias never work because what they want goes against human nature. When your goal is equal result (as opposed to equal opportunity) you end up rewarding the takers and punishing the achievers. Where ever this type of society exist the achievers will (if able) leave to find a place where their work is rewarded.
California’s one main problem is that it is a one party state - Democrats. They have rigged the system so that it will remain so as long as they control the ballot box.

When you have two states, one with high taxes and high social spending and a second with low taxes and low social spending, the productive will move to the second will those who live by begging will move to the first. This is one of the reasons why leftists demand that welfare programs are national: to prevent the productive from having anywhere to flee.
California is definitely a type one state.

I preferred our population in 1970, and California was much better then.

It’s ok though, because millions of Mexicans, Guatemalans, and Hondurans are having plenty of babies… in California.

If the population in California is reduced, that could mean that California has enough water to provide for itself.
