Florida Dems = Blacks (not enough BLM types to make a difference, Jews (and not the Bernie types), Puerto Ricans, Gays, and trial lawyers. All of these for now are outnumbered by others (especially boomer retirees these days), but FL still has a ton of Dems in Orlando, Broward Country, Palm Beach, Tampa, etc

Part of the Weird Austin experience is Naked Lisa, usually found wandering in the vicinity of 6th street, the former safe haven for music venues.

Dang, I knew 6th Street had degenerated, but didn’t know about this.

I haven’t been on 6th St. in years, but I remember when it was lively and full of great music venues. Heck, I still remember Raoul’s and Club Foot. {creak!}

Is Esther’s Follies even still there and if so, is it still funny or did it go woke?

I have no desire to go to Austin again. The closest I go is to visit good friends in Georgetown on occasion.

6th street had been on the decline for some time. All sorts of hoodrat elements encroaching in. Then the covid communism - which was embraced hard by the local government - came along and heaped more damage on it. Esther's Follies is still there, you can jump on the internet search engine of your choice and find their website for hours and showtimes. Dunno how woke they may be, but it's Austin, so wouldn't be surprised.
