Africans will be Africans regardless of where they live.
Actually African immigrants are much more likely than American-born blacks to be employed, as opposed to a welfare queen/king. It's not so much a matter of genetics as one group of blacks is told that they can't succeed no matter what they do because of evil whitey and the other group believes America is the land of opportunity, much like Asian immigrants.

They have to overcome some challenges to get here. But if you imported the average African, you would end up with Africa.
