I mean it. Show your math. Macroeconomics (or it’s subfield development economics) is a hobby of mine. My first job was actually with Arthur Anderson (Asia), in a consulting gig with the Asian Development Bank. Never lost that interest on spite of being an engineer.
Then I went to the US to get a real engineering career.

It’s taken the Russians months to take a mining town against the Ukrainians. My guess is that aren’t coming through Fulda any time soon. Germany has time to get its act together.
Germany hasn’t had a military worth of the name in over 30 years. The Bundeswehr is a joke. Its equipment is outdated or not maintained in working order.
They’ve been free riding off of America to provide for their defense for decades. I remember a certain orange billionaire calling them on the carpet for it over and over again - but what did he know? Who cares that they didn’t even keep their word to spend a paltry 2% of GDP on Defense and had no intention of doing so? The Americans would always be there to pay for their defense for them - right?
