Sure he would.

All it would take is a certain threat to cut off Ukraine entirely. Completely.

They would then be anxious for a deal.

Uh, how do you propose having “fair” elections in areas where entire towns and cities have been reduced to rubble and most of the population has fled?

How are results handled if Kharkiv votes to stay in Ukraine (certain) but Kharkiv Oblast votes to join Russia? (The latter unlikely now, but Russia might flood the areas they control with pro-Russians who of course will have proper documentation. /s)

Who controls and keeps peace in contested areas with mixed populations until new borders are fenced and patrolled, with a demilitarized zone along each border?

Who removes Zelenskyy’s head from the pike for burial?

Great job of destroying NATO, though.

That’s a big area, too. The pro-Ukrainians are seething with barely concealed fury. Who the heck is gonna take on that job & has the manpower?

No no no. Open up natural gas production. Russian would fold like a cheap tent. Y’all aren’t thinking.

AH! Someone else "gets it"!

At least a crucial part of it, anyway.

Actually, that is what the transport sanctions on oil and refined products are all about (and Pooty supporters can't figure it out even when the data of what is happening to Russian gov't oil revenues and also other taxes are given to them.) Those sanctions are not intended to reduce Russian oil exports. They are merely designed to chop the profit margin to near zero. The Chinese, Indians, etc., are of course delighted with this.

Russia then threatened to cut production by 25%, but that is HIGHLY problematic for them. Actual cut is much smaller, 6% maybe, and even then, IF that happens and IF it does work, some of their customers won't be so happy.

It'd be very useful of course if idiot Biden would get out of the way of US production.

Trump had nothing to do with the exit from Iraq. Obama did it, and it was a disaster, just not as abrupt as Biden’s pull out from Afghanistan.

It is true Trump planned to get us out of Afghanistan. But that plan included the certainty of the Taliban getting splattered all over the mountains if they misbehaved (and they believed it.) So, obviously that would take considerable US force in the region.

After the same warmongering maniacs had the US world policeman invade Iraq and Afghanistan...

So you would have given them a pass for 9/11? Short memories and all that?

Or in other words, surrender to the Russians, eh?

Would you surrender if the Russians attacked the U.S.?

Without US support they would either accept Russian terms or they would die.

I’m extremely skeptical Trump could end hostilities within 24 hours. It would probably be more like 36 hours, or maybe even 48.

So surrender is what you’re demanding, no?

Hell no, I wouldn’t have. You did! When did you ever advocate holding those responsible for 9/11 to account? Yes sir, we really showed the Saudis, who attacked us on 9/11, what for by massacring all those Afghans. Damn neocon warmongers go to war with whoever your DC masters tell you. Now your corrupt, murderous world policeman has been co opted as NATO’s bloody globalist thug. The big problem this time, the world policeman isn’t slaughtering mostly innocent untrained Arab irregulars. The NATO goon has picked a fight with a nuclear armed state. But never fear, Woke Amerika will spread the perversions and corruptions so vital to you worldwide or get us all killed trying.

Another reason why I’m all on board the Trump Train in 2024. His instincts on foreign policy remain the best of any of the candidates. He’s the only one calling out this insane Neocon project that is wasting huge amounts of money, Ukrainian lives and recklessly pushing us closer to direct confrontation with the country that has the most nuclear weapons on earth.

I don’t care whether Ukrainians surrender, or die.

I only care that we stay out of it.
