You know what, you’re absolutely right.

The USA should leave NATO and every other international forum. Give up the seat on the UN Security Council too - it’s not needed if you’re retiring from your world policeman role.

Oh, and since globalisation and getting involved in proxy wars is so bad, why not go the whole hog and stop exporting arms.

The USA as the new Switzerland sounds mighty appealing. Europe can sort its act out, pay for its own defense, and fight Russian expansion westwards on its own dime.

Of course, don’t come crying to us Europeans for handouts you don’t really need, the next time you want

1. the Frogs to prop up a secession (maybe that’s where Zelenskyy got his grifting strategy from!)

2. International banking for a grossly disproportionate response to a wealthy Saudi dripping with American schmoozers plotted to hijack planes and crash them into American landmarks... Where you knew it was the Saudis behind the atrocities but chickened out of attacking them and decided to go after Iraq and Afghanistan instead.

There’s no downside, if America leaves EU-NATO. EU NATO without the USA is far less likely to end up in a forever war with Russia.

The US absolutely should leave all of those other groups. Why would we stop ARMs sales? We benefit from that. Adding trillion bucks to our debt every single year plus the interest on all the other trillions we’ve already added, does not benefit us. The US has been going into debt for decades to protect western europe while you all spent 1% of your budget on military while we spent 15%. If you want protection you should pay for it, period.
