FBI Director Christopher Wray joined "Special Report" for a wide-ranging interview as the bureau continues to receive a bevy of criticism over its handling of several situations – including the Hunter Biden laptop investigation, classification of issues at school board meetings and the raid on Mar-a-Lago.
Wray defended the agency and the way its agents conduct investigations in an "independent" manner.
Anchor Bret Baier asked Wray about the FBI's reputation being at a record low, to which the director said the bureau's successful recruiting should help disprove any perceived shortcomings.
"There are all sorts of opinions out there about the FBI, just like there are about every major institution these days," said Wray

I saw some of that interview and the man didn’t utter one word of truth! Not one! Very polished and time to get rid of him - past time.
People trust the FBI - people can’t wait to get hired there? Hundreds of applications. That’s when I turned him off.

The FBI needs to be abolished, it’s leadership put on trial, and it rank and file employees prohibited from working for the federal government for a decade.

I believe they are on the side of the Washington, DC people.
With some very rare exceptions, these Washington DC denizens are not Americans - but people weaned on grafting off of the American citizen taxes. And since Wray only mingles with this tiny, and twisted, cross-section of America, I'm sure he believes what he says.
I see no good solution other than to raze DC to the ground, and distribute the next Government bureacracy amongst the various States. And stationing the FBI and CDC in Alaska (the Aleutian islands preferably) would be a good start. With apologies to Alaska.
If it were up to me, the govt. would be shrunk to the size it was during George Washington’s first term.
