Michigan State University lifts COVID-19 vaccine mandate

MSU is lifting its COVID-19 vaccine mandate effective today, Feb. 28.

Deputy spokesperson Dan Olsen said MSU will still continue to encourage vaccinations, including COVID-19, because “all of these measures better protect health and well-being of our campus community.”

Olsen said the widespread protection of the individuals who have already been vaccinated, plus new boosters and treatment options, eliminated the need for a campus-wide mandate.

“Now, as both the virus and our understanding of it continues to evolve, there is widespread protection due to the number of individuals vaccinated,” university physician Michael Brown said in an email to the MSU community. “New vaccine boosters and treatment options are widely available, and we know better how to protect those most vulnerable.”

Brown said in an email that there may be limited situations where professional students and employees must be vaccinated because of certain hospital and health care facility requirements.

No more vaccine mandate for students, except for those in medical settings (those vaccine mandates are Federally set.)

If they still require MMR, polio, and chicken pox vaccinations, then why are they relaxing the requirement for the CoVID vaccine? Is this the closest they’ll come to acknowledging that (a) the virus isn’t life threatening after all; (b) the vaccine won’t prevent or minimize the virus symptoms; and/or (c) the vaccine does more harm than good, especially in young healthy adults?

IOW, this was all a huge scam that they forced ppl to participate in for 3 yrs, but now it’s “sorry, my bad!” 🤬

Did deputy spokesperson Dan Olsen mention anywhere in his statement that MSU had grown tired of seeing otherwise healthy young men develop debilitating heart conditions, or older men and women dying unexpectedly of strokes?

I didn't think so. Completely unapologetic with the blinders on tighter than any tinfoil hat I've ever seen.
