It’s bizarre that the capitol police should have responded to firearms that were not there.
I suspect that “intelligence” was ginned up by the security state and they didn’t “prepare” because (1) They knew the intelligence was ginned up and (2) They wanted an incursion into the capitol so the security state could spend the next four years screaming about it.
