Which is why they want to stop us from using cash. My hubby almost always uses cash. I think the only time he uses our CC is when we are the motor home and we want to make sure we can keep us with expenses of the trip, gas mileage, etc. It’s aggravating only when I’m trying to prove we paid something in cash, which has happened only once. If the receipt didn’t get retained, I have no proof.
Our government uses credit cards to track our purchases entirely too much, and the cc companies voluntarily turn over that information upon request. Politicians have become more and more insistent upon knowing what we purchase and even why. Such intrusions on a country’s citizens is one of the signs it is headed for a downfall.
