I lived in the UK in the 70s. Beef and chicken were a bit expensive. Lamb and sheep were very economic as was fish. Vegetables of high quality were available in abundance at a fair price. Economic political environmental correctness have screwed them.
It'll come here eventually. We have entire generations of young people who are absolutely terrified of climate change to the point that they're seeking therapy for their "climate anxiety."
They are massive in numbers demographically and will vote the rest of us back into the Dark Ages once they get the opportunity.
