And that 100 billion has degraded the Russian conventional forces without the loss of one US serviceman.

LOL. dumb@ss Ukrainians. Doing neocon's dirty work for them!

By the way - I like your tag-line. Sounds especially cheap and cheesy when you are bragging about how we can make others die in our stead.

I’d say a big chunk of the war pigs are ex-pats or outright foreigners living overseas. That’s why they don’t care about what’s going on in the USA. They AREN”T LIVING in the USA.

There is your Afghanistan War cost by year. Ukraine spending in not even close.

Yes, and the lost US lives.

There were 2,402 United States military deaths in the War in Afghanistan. 1,921 of these deaths were the result of hostile action. 20,713 American servicemembers were also wounded in action during the war. In addition, 18 Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operatives also died in Afghanistan.

And we’re only 180 Trillion dollars in debt and liabilities, given or take 10 Trillion.

Clearly, we must fund this failed state of 21 years’ existence with hundreds of Billions more of money we don’t have. After all, our grandchildren (born and not yet born) should be willing to make this sacrifice.

Ukraine one year war cost US more than 9 years of Afghan war, chart.

One year of the Russian War of Conquest has cost about as many American lives as can be attributed to accidental fatalities caused by choking on pretzels.

Ukrainians are CHOOSING to defend their homes and nation from Putin's invasion. No one is "making them die".

In the first chart posted, it shows that military aid to Ukraine totaled $46.6 billion.

There were 11 years in which the cost of the War in Afghanistan exceeded $46.6 billion.

Ukraine one year war cost US more than 9 years of Afghan war...

Excellent!

That means when we lose in Ukraine, it will be nine times worse and more humiliating than our loss in Afghanistan!

We sponsored a violent coup in Kiev in 2014. We started the war but Russia will end it.

“Removing Russia as a conventional military threat to NATO. Best money ever spent, vs Afghanistan or Iraq.”

You are disgusting.

What's "disgusting" about degrading Russia's ability to wage war and reducing the threat that it poses to the West - at no cost in American lives?

Except that it sounds like NATO is 100% irrelevant now and we can finally disband it.

As a consequence of Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, Finland and Sweden have now opted to abandon their historic neutrality and join NATO.

Sounds like NATO is more attractive than ever!

And how many nations have expressed an interest in allying militarily with Russia since Feb. 24, 2022?

< crickets >

Good for them. I would probably do the same. But I’m not Ukrainian and I don’t live in Ukraine or even in the same continent. Ukraine can fend for itself, I don’t care and neither does my money.

Maybe if Uncle Sam wasn’t so nosy about everyone’s business in the world this wouldn’t have happened. Maybe. Maybe not. But I do know facilitating violence and war like the USA is doing right now with Ukraine is dangerous and yes, disgusting.

Exactly!

Nevertheless, Biden and the RINOS will still insist on rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

“We’ve won a huge victory over Russia. This war has decimated their military and proven they are not a threat to the US anymore. And we did that without one US casualty. I’d say that’s worth a great deal.”

The war has shown Russian leaders that their weapons are junk and their military leadership highly defective.

Russia will make better weapons and properly train their military commanders.

It is easy to sabotage a train or factory. US politicians may become as unlucky as the domestic opponents of Putin,.

“This war has also made China rethink it’s ability to invade Taiwan. That’s also a win.”

It is possible to overwhelm Taiwan’s defenses. I won’t say how, but Joe can ask the US military leaders how it can be done. Taiwan’s only real defense would be nuclear.
