One shouldn’t judge based on names, but Compton Avenue sounds like a place to avoid.

You can look at the Compton Avenue Neighborhood in Google Street View. It looks like the "Gravoix Park" area. It's not a lux place; it's a somewhat decent, older lower/middle class neighborhood. The homes were built before they had garages facing the street. The garages all detached and they open to alleyways perpendicular to the street. There are lots of hidden places for the bastards to hang out and ambush you as you are putting the car in the garage.
