Good observations and suggestions. Haven’t been on FR to see if the headline of “Red China to broker peace deal with Ukraine” has been posted.

Xi and Putin are pals, and Putin clearly watching the chinee. All here should remember the other proxy war the mil industrials got us screwed up with post wwII in French Indochina— yes over a French colony only recently taken back from the Jap Empire. The Russians won Vietnam for a very well known cultural reason— Vietnam when it was an empire of it’s own- traditional enemy was.. China.

And recall another thing— when Kim Jong Un was getting loonier and slinging missiles over Japan and towards us— at the behest of the Chi-Coms-— well the Russians had a huge build up of troops on their North Korean border (and in turn the Chi-coms built up on their Nork borders- to protect the coal the major export to Chi-Coms from the Norks).

Putin and Xi getting together is a “thing”— but China wants Russia for itself... there is no doubt Putin knows this. For North Korea, Russia’s relative influence/importance remains low. Kim saw an opportunity though, with Trump to break from Chi-Coms, maybe. China’s economic and political influence on North Korea eclipses that of Russia, and North Korea sees its relationship with the United States as the primary obstacle to its development objectives (which are in reality under control of the chi-coms). The Chi-coms tried to kill Kim Jong Un with Covid (this was little noticed) and replace him with his nutso fanatic sister. She has only recently been seen in public- Kim put her away somewhere.

It’s funny how these Pooty tools don’t listen to the man. He has repeatedly stated that Russia can’t win a direct conventional war with NATO. A link to a vid of Putin stating just such was posted here on FR a bit before this invasion started - by a sometimes Putin sympathizer.

One can see the Chi-Com “detente”— to get the US and Russia to bleed each other dry on mil-hardware (and in the best of scenes— get US troops into UK as “nato”). Bleed both dry, and Taiwan is Chi-com’s game... a two front “war” on the US created by the chinese agents and paid thugs within the US government and mil-industrial corporatists (who make their money sucking the teat of the “gopE” gang of eight morons, McConnell and the FedReserve loans kicked to the taxpayers).

Why focus on Putin— whoever replaces him could be much worse, in fact a greater danger. The problem here is our own clowns think they are experts in the Great Game. Their track record is really piss poor, all the way from Vietnam, through 20 years in Afghan, 9/11 missed or ignored to keep in the game, and finally Afghan gone with billions of new hardware. The fine hand of the obamaumao muzzies embedded in our derp state and agents in place. We must clean house first—there are such things as muslim chi-com Communists, with all the profiteering greed done to our Country.

Minsk Accord’s remember those— Merkel’s comments are priceless and big Z admits he never was going to follow them. Because then what would he do? This Potemkin homo dancer and his beard wife that Joe and Obamaumao put in place to keep the grift and kickback going. Bipartisan dontcha know? This has been a long time coming, and Joe and Jill had their honeymoon in Lake Balaton, in the then Communist Hungary (rather strange). 50 years a clown in the Senate and now id’d for decades (along with diFi,many GOPe, and henry the K followers) as a Chi-com paid corruptocrat, who has violated his entire Oath of Office. A criminal.

Oh no. I agree.

Once NATO is fully in he will send the nukes and let God judge.

And he has stated that. He also has stated he will resort to getting as much of us as e can before NATO gets him.
Off the record.
He knows how NATO operates.

Anyone going after the us dollar doesn’t breathe for long.
Ask Guards to and Saddam Hussein.

Oh no. I agree.

Your statements then, from earlier posts, cannot be reconciled. So, I'll just go with the "I agree". ;-)

Once NATO is fully in he will send the nukes and let God judge.

IMO, that depends on what you mean by "fully in".

I don't think NATO would try to take large swaths of Russian territory, take Moscow, etc. Instead, it would knock out virtually any Russian conventional offensive capacity and degrade Russian defenses to the point that Moscow itself would be vulnerable purely from a tactical standpoint -- but then NATO would call for a cease-fire and negotiations, making it clear it did not intend to advance further, or hold any territory inside Russia's 1992 borders, once UN demilitarized zones could be established.

Now I will admit this could well lead to US troops having to stare down, say, Polish troops with revenge boiling hot in their minds...

NATO could also offer safe passage for Putin and his family to a neutral country.

This IS based on my belief that Putin is rational and not suicidal toward himself or Russia. I just don't see a crazy Muzzie in him.

Even if Russia used a couple tactical nukes in Ukraine, for example, the US / NATO has not indicated a nuclear response, just a strong response. Russia might no longer have a navy, for example.

I also know the modern US is not a vengeful country toward other countries' people or the country itself, and I think Putin knows that too.

Leaders can be a bit of a different story, but your analysis of Iraq and Libya is incorrect.

Russia won’t use a nuke in Ukraine.

If you go back far enough you will read posts where I talk about dying.

I have in fact always said once Russia has their back to the wall, they will just kill as many of us as they can and die.
I am sure Xi knows this and that is why he has invited Ukraine to come talk. People who understand the Russians get it. The end is very near. You should prepare.

Unlike most western Christians, Russians *truly* believe the next life will be better. And Americans do not get it that to die for the motherland is a huge and very real honor in Russia. Tons of nationalism, culture based on Orthodox Christianity which really does remind us often about death.

I see it all the time on Russian forums. A world without Russia is not worth living in, etc. They mean it. I have tried to explain this to people who think Putin is bluffing.

There is no world without Russia - Putin

Additional thoughts..

Being an Orthodox Christian for some 20 yrs, in the Seattle area, with three adopted Russian children, and living in a city with some 12 or more Orthodox churches.....

We spent time at all of them. All Orthodox churches are considered one and the same, with a few exceptions.

I also visited many around the country and world. They are all my church. I was always warmly welcomed.

The Russians were more nationalistic than any of them. Although the Greeks could be tough...

Orthodoxy is an ascetic faith. The more you suffer, the better chance of knowing God more fully. Tons of fasting all year at designated periods.
Orthodoxy is also a joyful faith. Christ’s death on the cross is a victory to celebrate, much more than a gruesome event. Because the next life will be glorious. And they mean it. Really, really mean it.

Russian orthodoxy is rife with prophecies.
“Let Holy Rus Arise”

https://www.orthodox.net/pascha/1940-pascha-anastasii.html

In Dostoevsky’s *Writer’s Diary* —> ‘Orthodox Russia is destined to unite the Slavic peoples and restore the kingdom of Christ on earth’.

Americans/non Orthodox do not and probably never will get the spiritual depth, and in a country that is hugely of this faith.
But imagine. The Slavic people united. Restore the kingdom of Christ on earth...huge beliefs.

You think Putin didn’t mean it when he gave those speeches about Ukrainians being brothers?
You think he is bombing them? Hell no. Grozny he razed. But all those stories about bombing residential areas are lies.

In fact, when Russia briefly invaded Georgia, Russian soldiers refused. They sent Chechens in those tanks.

Trying to stay on topic..Russia being nuked by NATO would come very close to a spiritual event.
I am not sure how it can be reconciled with nuking all you can first. But I do know that Putin confesses to a Russian Orthodox bishop every 3 months. And that he is very close friends with Xi.
And that if we don’t back down soon, or if NATO gets involved enough to convince him Russia will be destroyed, he and most every Russian will accept their fate without anger or much grief.
It will happen. And I personally believe it will happen.
I am not that alone.
https://dailyreckoning.com/the-horrifying-endgame-in-ukraine/

Don’t take my word for the Russian culture stuff. Read Dostoevsky or visit a Russian Orthodox church.
“an ox which feeds man, and works for him, an animal that is bowed down and pensive. Look at their faces: what gentleness! What lack of malice there is in their faces! What trust and what beauty! It is touching, even, to realise that they are without sin; for everything is perfect; everything, apart from man, is sinless, and Christ was with them even before he was with us. ‘ ‘But surely, ‘ asks the boy, ‘how can it be that Christ is with them?’ ‘How can it be otherwise,’ I tell him, ‘for the word is for all, for all creation and for all creatures. Every little leaf strives towards the word, sings praises to God, weeps to Christ unknown to itself, fulfils this by the mystery of its sinless existence. ‘

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beggar_Boy_at_Christ%27s_Christmas_Tree
https://kundaliniandcelltowers.com/parable-of-the-onion.html

And I don’t agree with all of this, esp not the latter half.

Shoot. One last comment.

Remember Putin said “We are prepared for any outcome”.

It is the west that is recklessly forging ahead and not prepared.

Sure, and it’s very depressing.

But please remember that the last three administrations in Germany have done anything in their power to ruin Germany, in a similar fashion as the Obama and Biden administrations have done to America.

And it seems they are succeeding - and now a few people over here are going over the top: that the next thing the US government might do is to nuke Germany. That is what they maintain.

Get rid of the old enemy - and present-day economic competitor - forever, and harm Russia at the same time through nuclear fallout. In Europe, west winds are prevailing.
Russia, they say, would in this case have no pretext for a retributive strike at the USA, since she wouldn’t have been attacked directly.

Please note that these are their words, not mine.

Hovever, longpongnodong (or whatever his name is) and a few similarly other lovely people on this forum might love such a prospect.

Still, at least one of them (he knows who he is) should remember that his beloved Poland would be stricken by the nuclear fallout from Germany as well - even more so than Russia itself, as a look on any map of Europe might clarify.

I sure will :-) - though I’ve never seen this line of discussion on this forum either.

I encountered it on a German forum - a left-wing one at that, I have to avow.

However, such statements were likely to come from that source. You know as well as I do, that the political left, all over the world, has always been sceptical of America and her motives. Needless to say, the left in my country is no exception, except for a handful of individuals.
