Horrific footage released by police shows a wheelchair-bound woman slurring and pleading with police as she is arrested for refusing to leave hospital, just moments before she died from a stroke in the back of a cop car.
Knoxville Police have released their body camera video of the harrowing incident which happened at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, in Tennessee, on February 6.
Lisa Edwards, 60, had been refusing to leave the hospital and was arrested on trespassing charges when she died in the back of the police cruiser – minutes after telling cops 'you're going to kill me'.
The footage shows Lisa being taken into custody, gasping and wheezing before she tells officers that she 'can't breathe'. Her skin becomes grayer, and her voice more slurred as the footage continues. The latter is a well-known symptom of a stroke.
Authorities released the hour and 16-minute video with a warning that some of the video may be distressing.

Wow. We go to Fort Sanders. Part of the Covenant Health group that we belong to.
My friend was in medical malpractice insurance business. Two things she never will do:
Have a colonoscopy.
Be treated by a Physician’s Assistant.

In EMS when the patient adamantly tells you they are about to die, believe them. I’ve seen it happen several times.

The hospital kicked her out. Medical care these days is beyond ridiculous.
She was 60. You have to be 65 to receive Medicare. She could have had Medicaid.
The police ARE NOT on your side. Waiting for the FR police boot lickers to show up.
The police are not to be blamed here (I hate to say because I just don’t like them) because a medical expert location says this person isn’t sick and is trespassing. Them damn doctors, nurses, and administrators are going to be brutally liable for this. If it was my family, they would be relieved if I hire a tort vs a defense lawyer.
Impossible in my opinion. They would kill any one of us to keep their jobs.

Sorry, you are right, I meant to say medicaid. The medicaid program is the one that covers uninsured visits, Because if you have Medicare, you have insurance of a sort.
As I wonder how she got in that situation I can only pray, “There but for the grace of God go I”.
Those cretins who helped her die are not deserving of the name Man. May justice be done.
