I remember Rush Limbaugh once did a "cold open" to his show, or perhaps at the top of the second hour.

While the EIB theme song (by The Pretenders) was playing, Rush addressed his audience: "Let me ask you a question. How many people do you know who have died violent deaths?"

After the theme song died away, he repeated the question.

Again he paused, and said, "well, if you're Bill and Hillary Clinton, the number is fifty-one" (this was quite a long time ago).
