President Vladimir Putin revoked on Tuesday a 2012 decree that in part underpinned Moldova's sovereignty in resolving the future of the Transdniestria region - a Moscow-backed separatist region which borders Ukraine and where Russia keeps troops.
The decree, which included a Moldova component, outlined Russia's foreign policy 11 years ago which assumed Moscow's closer relations with the European Union and the United States.
The order revoking the 2012 document was published on the Kremlin's website and states that the decision was taken to "ensure the national interests of Russia in connection with the profound changes taking place in international relations".
It is part of a series of anti-Western moves announced by Putin on Tuesday.

Perhaps two can play the pot-stirring game, eh, globalist?
You live in glass house. Don’t throw stones. Yelled just promised z another 10 billion. Do you support her?
One has nothing to do with another, as I’m sure you know. “Do you support her?” Ridiculous.
With regard to this Ukraine war, notice how these neocon trolls never, ever say: “Trust the US Government?” NOT ONCE.
They know its an impossible demand on every American here.
so instead, they say “focus on this unclear, muddled and likely twisted bit of info from distant Ukraine or Russia. You must accept it!”
As long as it is like the mostly peaceful Ukrainian coup...all is good.
Do you support sending billions more to ukraine?
Who cares, globalist?
I'm more interested in East Palestine.
You and your swell pal the JoeTatoe apparently are more interested in loving on the Ukraine.
Hmmmmmmmmmm?
hat tip to JonPreston
In all these proxy wars started by putin, “separatist” means Russian FSB inspired and funded element with Putin’s long range imperial objectives in mind.
Well, since you ask, I do NOT support that, nor do I approve of the U.S. paying the salaries and benefits of Ukrainian government officials and employees.
What I do support is giving the Ukrainians the weapons, ordnance, communications, command coordination, and intelligence necessary to stop Russia's attacks and to drive them fully out of Ukraine. It's far better that the Ukrainians fight and defeat the Russians THERE than my kids and grandkids having to do it in a few years in Poland, Romania, Germany, and/or the Baltics.
And make no mistake, Russia under Putin is an evil 1930s level threat to both Europe and America, and if Putin is not stopped now, then we will regret it later.
History might not repeat itself but it certainly rhymes, as Mark Twain once said.
Russia under Putin is an evil 1930s level threat to both Europe and America

Do you have an argument for your conclusion?
Why do you think Russia will attack England? When?
"What I do support is giving the Ukrainians the weapons, ordnance, communications, command coordination, and intelligence necessary to stop Russia's attacks and to drive them fully out of Ukraine."
America Last, Neocon Adventurism in Europe First.
Dementia diagnosis.
Would you support a UKRAINIAN INVASION of Transnistria and its INDEPENDENCE-MINDED INHABITANTS?
Imagine that, who does he think he is, NATO?
Next thing you know, Pootie will start thinking it's OK to blow up pipeline infrastructure...
