There was a gun battle upn here mountains in the 1930`s between them revenooers and the mountaintop farmers who had hootch whiskey stills. Unbeknownst to them revenooers, these farmers were WW1 vets. They had done brought back with them some German war trophies, namely, German machine guns. Them reveennoers were outgunned. They done beat their tails back to washungtton DC. and never came back. That`s how it`s done. I personally knew one of the farmers and he showed me the stone wall where the machineguns were firing from. It`s in the 1930`s newpapers here.

Also, after WWI, all the American Legion Posts in the USA each received a German machine gun from the War Dept. It`s in all the newspapers of that time.
