Correct. He is a NATIVE BORN US citizen, not a NATURAL BORN one, only by virtue of the 14th amendment, if BOTH of his parents were not citizens when he was born, even if they were lawfully resident. (similar to Wong Kim Ark, the subject of an 1898 SCOTUS decision on US citizenship)
I have purchased and read his book, Woke Capitalism. I have watched him in dozens of TV interviews. He is intelligent, competent and capable. He seems to be a patriot. Despite that, unless both of his parents were citizens at the time of his birth, then he is not an Article II, section one, clause 5, natural born citizen eligible to be POTUS.
Is he an anchor baby? Were both of his parents US citizens at the time of his birth or illegal, etc.?
Does he employ H1B? Does he employ more Indians than Americans--does he have a pattern in both of discriminating against native-born American citizens?
Does he have dual US and Indian citizenship? If not, when did he renounce his Indian citizenship?
Does he recognize and accept that India is an enemy of the US, not a friend and ally?
The Wogs conquered the Brits. Time to knock out another colonist.
Vivek will run circles around Trump in debates. Vivek has gift of speaking which is simply astounding. No one can match him in debates.
Yep he could never win with that name..truth
I have heard this guy. I agree with him.
My point is where are the sons of the pioneers?
The communists have erased the American culture.
Too late for that argument. Obama’s father was citizen of Kenya.
This guy is actually one of the good guys and I have no problem with his getting exposure. No way can he get a nomination but he sure belongs in government. He had started many companies that are successful and is a genius (IMHO) and just recently he has started a non-Woke Hedge Fund — Love it.
Sons of pioneers are busy enjoying the wealth they inherited.
Fine, he can return to his family’s India and run for office there.
At least his mother was a US citizen.
You need to get better informed. India does not allow US citizens to run for political office.
Running for VP. Likely a good one, as he can argue very effectively for conservative ideals.
Yes and underage when Barry was born. So now it is okay to have only 1 parent US citizen?
No. No place in government unless he campaigns to end H1B, to send all Indian-citizen workers home, and to get India to accept return of Indian deportees (a promise Trump failed to keep). And, as I asked, has he and when did he renounce his Indian citizenship.
Not my problem. Besides, why should we allow Indian citizens to run for American offices?
So what’s his plan for Social Security?
Running for VP? No, sorry, he’s not eligible for presidency, so can’t be VP since he can’t fulfill the duties of VP, to be president if the president dies or resigns.
Like I said you need to get better informed.
Vivek is a US born USA citizen. Please stop exposing your lack of knowing facts.
What Indian citizenship?
He's a natural born American citizen.
